The SUD Compliance and Consulting Group consists of experts who have previously worked at the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, Department of Health Care Services, and the Department of Social Services.

SUD Compliance is focused on the business of mental health and addiction treatment organizations. We help our clients achieve the most productive organizational alignment among staff, management, and Board to optimize overall performance. In addition, we provide technical assistance and training that leads to improved outcomes and measurement. Our staff has a combined 20+ years of experience in the addiction and mental health treatment fields, holding executive leadership positions and helping to grow companies. Our business acumen is highly respected in the industry and we have had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented people in the field. The needs of each company we help are foremost, and we are particularly good at listening to our customers as they communicate their vision, philosophy and desired direction for their organization.

As the premier substance use and mental heath consulting organization dedicated to performance improvement, SUD Compliance helps organizations and individuals achieve their goals. Our professional clients include behavioral health organizations, drug and alcohol treatment centers and addiction rehabs, physicians, counselors and other clinicians, interventionists and other behavioral health professionals.

Our President, Christopher Lewis, retired December 2014 from ADP/DHCS after 30 years of service, and had been with the Department since 2001, serving as the Chief of Licensing and Certification for the last four. Christopher has conducted over 600 onsite visits, including Drug Med-Cal targeted reviews, and has developed regulations, extensive policies, all current application review and site monitoring documents, forms, and the just released initial application for licensing and certification.

The remaining members of our group are retired alcohol/drug licensing and certification field and mental health analysts who have conducted an extensive number of application reviews, over 2,000 onsite compliance monitoring reviews, including Joint Commission survey visits.
